MacTools Pro -- TrashBack 4.0, 4.0.1 -> 4.0.2 Updater ©1995, Central Point Software. All Rights Reserved. This updater may be distributed freely. Use this application to update TrashBack version 4.0 to version 4.0.2. • Why update? This updater fixes the following problems: -------------------------------------- On some configurations, if System 7.5 was used and only a single partition was mounted, TrashBack would incorrectly set the free space on the disk. If TrashBack 4.0, AutoCheck 4.0, System 7.5, and Apple Menu Options was installed and Apple Menu Options was set to "Remember recently used items", Managing Your Money 6.0 would incorrectly round numbers up by two cents. TrashBack 4.0 and 4.0.1 would cause a crash when you selected Restart or ShutDown from the Special menu and System 7.5 Update 1.0 was installed. • How to update • Click Update. The updater will automatically find the copy of TrashBack you are using in your System Folder. • While the update is taking place, progress is indicated by the filling bar. • If you are using anti-virus software, such as MacTools Anti-Virus, we suggest that you reboot without extensions before using this updater. Otherwise, suspicious activity alerts may appear during installation. These are normal, and you should allow all changes. • If for some reason the Updater notifies you that an error occurred, consult the suggested resolutions below. • When the update process is complete, click OK. Notes: • If you are not experiencing these problems and have Times Two from Golden Triangle Software installed, you should not update TrashBack. Golden Triangle Software is no longer in business and Times Two is not compatible with TrashBack 4.0.2. • If you have any trouble using this updater, you may call Central Point Technical Support, at (800) 491-2764, any time from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Pacific time.
